We were tasked with rebranding the Hawaiian beauty brand MALIE ORGANICS, and planned a relaunch pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku that pushed a new, luxurious, truly Hawaiian image delivered from the raw materials and fragrances.
Immersive retail experience in application resulted in the creation of a fictional Hawaiian luxury hotel with botanical wallpaper sourced from the headquarters of Malie Organics in Hawaii: brand logo decorations, furniture, lighting, and other elements created a sense of luxury. Subsequently, pop-up stores have been held throughout the year in department stores nationwide in Japan. We also designed promotional tools such as customized DMs and bespoke sales catalogs in Japan that conveyed to customers Malie’s brand philosophy. Emitting a sense of luxury and showcasing the quality of materials, we created gift packages for our Japanese clientele resulting in exclusive original gift packages for Japan mainland.
